A New First....

On Sunday my oldest daughter lost her first tooth. It had been a teeny bit loose for awhile, but I guess she was wiggling at it on Saturday night and she said it popped a became a lot looser. She started crying because she didn't like the way it felt. Who does? Nobody likes to have a loose tooth! It bothered her so bad that she spent all of Sunday wiggling it. I was about ready to flip because her finger was constantly in her mouth. I guess all that wiggling paid off because it was loose enough after church that her daddy was able to give it a tug and pop it out. He thought is was kind of neat to pull out his first tooth on Father's Day. M was glad to have it out, until she saw that it was bleeding! Once the bleeding stopped she was just fine again and able to eat her dinner. She wouldn't eat breakfast or lunch because her tooth was bugging her so bad. It is still funny to see that hole in her mouth every time she smiles. The whole tooth fairy bit went over really well....except the tooth fairy didn't have any cash. So we ended up getting a dollar of her own money to give to her...we will of course pay her back. We will definately have to stock up on dollar bills for all the other tooth fairy visits.

It's a Girl!!!

I guess I was feeling like wearing pink for a reason. We had our ultrasound yesterday, and sure enough, it was a girl. We are so excited to have another princess at our house. This makes my life so much easier right now! She looked absolutely perfect in every way. We got some adorable photos of her hands and feet. My other girls are excited to have another sister, but I kind of think they are more excited to get bunk beds. I am going to have to go through all of my baby girl stuff and see what new things I need and go shopping. I am so excited!!!

A need to wear pink....

I have funny feelings when I am pregnant. Like today I just had to wear pink. Somedays, when I am not pregnant, I feel like wearing one color or another, but for some reason when I am pregnant I seem to often get an overwhelming urge to wear pink. To the extent that I just could not have a good day if I wasn't wearing pink. I know that might just sound crazy. I am hoping I get these feelings because I have always had little girls and so that little bit of extra estrogen running in my system pushes me to wear a color that I find very feminine. Do any of you get the same kind of feeling when you are pregnant? Or am I the only crazy one?

For today, I will just be happy wearing my pink shirt and overalls...hoping that my baby will be a girl....only two more days until we find out! I will let you all know.
