18 Months a month late...

My baby turned 18 months last month. She is now 19 months. I wanted to post the cute picture I took of her when she turned 18 months. She has the biggest blue eyes. She is just a doll. We love her like crazy. She is just so fun. She started going to nursery. She loves it. She will walk right in and sit down with out a second glance at me. She is getting very good at letting us know what she wants. If you ask her a question she will nod or shake her head. She has become quite the screamer, which none of us like. She has also started throwing crying fits when she doesn't get what she wants. You just can't crawl across the counters....I am sorry, but you CAN'T. You can't pull your sister's hair....I know you think it is fun to hear them scream, but it is not NICE. You can't take your little chair and get in the cabinets....I DON'T want you in there. She loves to play outside and swing on the swings. She is such a dare devil. She will climb up to the top of our playhouse all by herself and go down the slide by herself. She scares us! She says lots of words (bye bye, night night, dad, mom, eat, no, shoe, up, etc. etc.) She will sing a little song from Dora The Explorer....Co Key Co Key. She will also tell you if she doesn't like something by crinkling up her little face and saying "EW". We love you little H.

Kids love to play with their food.

One day little A decided to turn her breakfast into art. She also loves to take pretzels and spell her name with them. She nibbles off the extra parts to make them look like letters.

Kids can nap anywhere....

I went to take a shower one day and when I was done I came down stairs. I didn't find screaming kids and a big mess like I usually do. I found this. My baby asleep on the stairs. She doesn't usually take morning naps, so this was a big surprise. I had to hurry and take a few pictures before she rolled down the stairs! She looked so cute sleeping there, but I didn't dare leave her, so I moved her up to her bed. I swear kids can sleep just about anywhere.

Living a Fairy Tale

We surprised the girls and took them to a Fairy Tale Ball. They were a little dissappointed at first because they thought we were just going to the Children's Museum like we usually do. They didn't know that it was a SPECIAL event. We got to see magic shows, have yummy treats, make masks, see a vantrilaquist, watch a performance of Beauty and The Beast, and do a little dancing. The girls had a great time.

A sweet moment...

A and K get to share a bed when we are at Grandma and Grandpa R's house. We found them asleep one night like this. No wonder that when one person get sick in our family we all get sick. I thought this was such a sweet picture.

An icecream bucket....

Even an icecream bucket can be fun when you are 1!!!

Our big 4 year old...

Our little K turned 4 in April. This was something I had been waiting for for a lllloooonnnnggg time. She has been my only child that was a terrible two. My other girls were terrible 3 year olds. I was hopeful that when K turned 3 she would be better, well it turned out she was a terrible 3 year old too. So we were quite looking forward to 4. She has been a quite pleasant 4 year old though, so I am excited about that.

She wanted a Thumbelina birthday. I found a cute little twirler baby bracelet to go in the middle of her cake. She got some super fun presents. They must have been really fun because her sisters all wanted them.

Can you tell that she has such a fun personality full of spunk? She is such a fun kid. She is always surprising me with the things she says and does. She is so different than her sisters. It is sometimes hard to figure her out, but we love her like crazy. No one makes us laugh as hard as she does. She is such a sweet little girl.

Easter continues...

The Easter bunny is pretty smart and seems to find us no matter where we spend our Easter. The girls got some fun new outfits, finger paints, coloring books, and of course some PEEPS. They always have fun with their new things. I think I need to start getting an Easter basket of my own.

Easter 2009

Yes, I know I am soooo far behind on the pictures. I didn't want to miss blogging about all of our fun though.

We went to visit my husbands family this year for Easter. We usually do. It is a great time to go there for a visit. The girls always have fun doing an easter egg hunt out in the desert. They have just as much fun climbing on the rocks when they are done.

Grandma R. made a fun Easter egg pinata. The girls had a fun time "cracking" the egg with their cousin.

Piggie Tails...

Little H finally has enough hair for piggie tails....Yipee!

I finally did it....

I finally read all of the Harry Potter books. I have put off starting them for years because I hate waiting for a new book to come out. And then with having a baby and moving twice I still couldn't find the time to start them. So finally I did it. I read them all in about 3 months, and let me tell you I have had some pretty WEIRD dreams! I enjoyed them much more than I ever thought I would. The only thing I have to say is:

I HAVE GOT TO GET MYSELF A MAGIC WAND!!!!!!

My Magnolia...

I have always loved Magnolia trees. They have the most beautiful flowers. We have tried several times to grow them, and they have either died, or we have moved away before we ever got to see them bloom. DH decided to splurge and buy a bigger magnolia last year. So forthe first time ever, we had Magnolia blossoms!!!! I was so excited. It got a bit nipped by frost before I got out to get pictures of them, but they are still so pretty. They smell just like lemons. I can't wait until it gets bigger. It will be such a stunning site every spring.

Playing stink bug....

I thought this was a funny way to try and put on your shoes.

Ice Skating...

We had a ward party at an ice skating rink. We started out with a yummy dinner and then we hit the ice. It was the first time the girls had ever been ice skating and it had been about 8 years since DH and I had gone. It was a lot of fun. It was a little hard for the girls to get the hang of it at first, but then they caught on. Little K was a little to small to be able to do it, so M ended up pushing her around in a chair most of the time. The guy DH works with in Young Men's took little H. She was so good and just sat with him the whole time. We had a great time. The girls keep begging to go back. I told them we can go back in August when we are dying of the heat!

Finger Painting....

The girls got finger paints in their easter baskets this year. Little H had never finger painted before. I think they all had a good time....at least they got to get all messy!
