Disneyland Vacation Part 5...

September 30, 2010.  We spent this day at Disneyland.  We got a 5 day park hopper pass so we could go back and forth between the two parks.  I am so glad we got the 5 day.  I don't know how we could have fit everything into 3 days.  D and A wanted to ride some roller coasters, so I took the girls to the little petting farm.
 They loved the little goats.
We also got to meet Jessie and Woody from Toy Story.
Jessie sat and colored for quite awhile with the girls.
We went on the big boat for a ride around the lake.

We also went on the Jungle Boat tour.  We had a great guide who was really funny.
I can't believe how real all the animals looked.  I wish we would have had time to go on it again.  I am sure we missed seeing a lot of things.

We also went to the Haunted Mansion.  It is an awesome building.  I would love a house like that.  As for the ride it was everyone's least favorite.  It was creepy and dark.  Even the people around the Mansion were a little creepy.  We also got to go on the Indiana Jones ride and the Pirates and a few others.  It was a fun day.

We managed to get Fast Passes for the World of Color show this day, so towards evening we headed over to California Adventure again.  We got to go to the tortilla factory and the Bread factory.  And we caught a lot of fish.  ;)Everything is so fun to see lit up at night.  It makes for a fun atmosphere.
The World of Color show was awesome.  It was kind of hard to get pictures of though.  It was nice to get misted by all the water after a hot day.  Our favorite part was when the fire blazed up.  The temperature difference was amazing.

It was really a spectacular show, and a really fun way to end another great day.

Disneyland Part 4...

September 29, 2010.  We slept in a little today and then went to the hotel pool to cool off.  We planned to spend the day at California Adventrue.  Here is A by the A inc California.
We took the girls to a princess lunch to see the princesses.  It was a total rip-off, and we would not do it again, but the girls had fun getting to see the princesses.
I made all the girls princess dresses before we went.  I figured they could all use them as their Halloween costumes as well.  they looked so cute in their fancy dresses.
 The girls with Ariel.
It was a fun atmosphere in the restaurant, but it was crowded and NOISY!
 The girls with Aurora.
 The girls with Cinderella.
 The girls with Belle.
The girls with H's favorite...Snow White.
Disney Playhouse show.  The girls loved this. D was not so impressed, but it was nice to sit and rest in a cool building for awhile.
The Bug's Life area was my absolute favorite part of both parks.  I loved Chew Chew's Train and the 3D bug's show.  I love the sensory part of them.
 See any resemblance?
The street parade was pretty cool.

The girls were a little creeped out by the mosters though.

I sat here and waited while D took the older girls on the Soarin' Over California ride.  I wasn't feeling very well.  I think my motion sickness medication was wearing off.  I didn't actually go on the ride.  It is my one regret from the trip.

The girls had fun playing on the Bro. Bear Adventure Trail.
I loved the 3D bug show.  We had to see it twice because it was so fun.
Another fun day for the family!

Disneyland Vacation Part 3...

September 28, 2010.  We got to spend the whole day at Disneyland.  This was the first trip to Disneyland for our girls.  They had such a great time.  I was worried about them being whiny, but they were good the whole time.  It was super hot while we were there.  We thought it would be a lot cooler the end of September, but apparantly we hit Disneyland during a heat wave.  Lucky us!  The girls loved Buzz light year.  At the end the big slug looking lady asked us, "Is that your sister in the 3rd row?  Want to trade?"  Well of course we didn't want to trade.  We love our girls!
We went down in the Nemo Submarine.  I was sure glad I took my motion sickness medicine everyday.  It saved me.  The Submarine made me motion sick even with the medicine.  It was kind of claustraphobic in there and hot.
The girls loved finding all their fun Disney characters around the park.
We went on It's A Small World several times.  The park wasn't very crowded, so we didn't have to wait in line for it.  It was nice and cool inside the water filled building.  It was a nice break from the heat.

It's a Small World was definately H's favorite ride.  I took her on it a couple times while D took the bigger girls on other rides.

The girls loved the tea cups too.  I think this was K's favorite ride.  M, A and D.
 H and K.  Aren't they cute!
They had  fun on Dumbo too, but the rides were longer here.

Dad took A to go on a roller coaster while I waited in line with the other girls to see the fairies.  It was a fun little area with lots of hidden things to see and fun water jumping over your heads.
We finally convinced M to go on the Toon Town Roller coaster.  The night before she went on a small roller coaster at California Adventure and didn't like it, but she loved this one.  A loved all the roller coasters.  She is such a dare devil.  She went on all the big roller coasters with D...even California Screamin'.  She is pretty brave.

The girls loved Minnie's house.  It is like a little girl paradise in there.

 Our little doggies!
We were going to leave before the street parade because it was so late, but we ended up staying.
We were glad we stayed because it was a lot of fun.  The girls loved all the music and dancing and getting to see a the costumes.
