My Quiet book...





My sister-in-law asked yesterday for pictures of my quiet book because she wants to make one. I thought I would post the pictures on here too.


I made this about 6 years ago (it gave me something to do while DH was getting his Master's Degree). It took me a long time because I sewed them by hand. I love hand sewing!

    great book!! some of the pages look familer, did you get them from mom? I think that my sisters got more of the creative gene from mom then I did. You ladies make such wonderful things.

    Ity, what kind of fabric did you make the actual pages from? I am gathering my ideas.

    Blackeyedsue: It is a 200 count muslin leftover from another project that I did. I also ironed on fusible interfacing onto the back of each page so it would be sturdier.

    Thanks for the great ideas!!! Have you thought about posting explicit directions how to do this? Do you have patterns or are just naturally good at drawing? Seriously AMAZING!!! Thanks so much!!!!
